HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hey Friends & Neighbors!

Happy New Year! I trust you all had a blessed Christmas. I most certainly did. Time well spent with my family and friends. I enjoyed my winter break from my daytime job as the cook at a local Christian preschool, and just returned to work this past Tuesday. It's always nice to be able to take some time to get some much needed rest and kind of recoup from my very hectic 2017.

My winter calendar usually slows down a bit, but it won't be long before I'm off again singing most weekends and sometimes most weeks when I'm in Revivals. I've already added quite a bit to my 2018 calendar. Most recently just yesterday and today. It's not to early to get your date secured now before they are all taken. LOL!

God has really blessed my music ministry these past couple of years. I am so humbled and thankful for each opportunity that He has allowed me the privilege to be a part of.

2017 was most certainly a very busy time for me, but I wouldn't have changed one bit of it. I experienced joys and sorrows, trials and triumphs. I got to go to Sommerset, Ky and experience Gospel Music Fan Fair, I rode and old steam engine train 11 miles up a mountain. God's handy work on those mountains was just breathtaking. I made so many new friends this past year as well. I visited a lot of New Churches and returned to so many old ones too. I'm so thankful God has kept me safe on my journey for Him. What a merciful, caring and loving God we serve.

I'm so excited about 2018. As I mentioned before, my calendar is filling up rapidly, so remember to get a hold of me to come and share at your churches next event.

I do covet your prayers as my journey for Jesus continues here in 2018. You pray for me and I'll pray for you! And when you don't feel like praying, PRAY anyway!!

I'm looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones yet again this year. I do hope and pray our paths cross this year. Do take care my friends and keep Jesus in your heart and share Him with someone out there that doesn't know Him!

Be blessed!!

In all my prayers for you, I always pray with joy. It is right for me to feel this way about all of you. Since I have you all in my heart.

See you soon

Jimmy

Song lyric idea: Young Preacher (John) searching for cheap used car in the new paper ads. Comes across a car being sold by a Pastor wife, no longer need of car. Car needs tires, long miles, drivers seat needs some work and could use some body work. I call this car a miracle car, low price & ideal for Young Preacher. Our young Preacher had to see this car, " Why would she call it a Miracle car," its old and worn. He made arrangements for the next day to meet with the woman & see this car. With only $500.00 cash he new he could not get much of a car, but he needed it to run well. John arrived at the Pastor wife's home their was this car setting in the drive color unknown, tire maybe another 5000 miles, windows ok, condition between fair to poor. The Pastor wife came out of the house with a walker, gray hair, smile from ear to ear & paper in her hand. She starter telling about he husband that he was a traveling Pastor for 52 years and would practice his services and prays in his car as he drives from church to church. Then one day after owning the car for 3 years he ran out of gas 1/2 way to one of the churches. No one around to help him called up on God to bless him and give him Grace to get the church where he could get some gas. After the pray he jumped back into the car and still with the pray on his mind tried to start the car. It started the first time, he drove on down the county road arriving a little late. He gave his service to the people and told the of his adventure forgetting about his gas problem he headed home. After that he never put any gas into this, which he explained to everyone that his car ran on GRACE & LOVE and still does. She excepted $300.00, leaving John $200 to get good tires. John now practice his services and prays I the same car. After several years driving this old car many people ask him why don't you buy a new car, his responses was "With all of the Grace & Love I get from him why would I give up on something the works." I HOPE YOU CAN USE THIS IN A SONG, I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR IT SOME DAY.
